Credit Hour Requirements for Norm Brodsky College of Business Undergraduate Students

At least fifty percent of semester hours of credit in the area of a student’s major must be taken at Rider.

Students are required to have 54 semester hours completed before enrolling in most 300- or 400-level business courses.

At least fifty percent of all business credits must be taken through Rider.  All business students must have a 2.0 GPA in their major and overall to graduate.

For all students, of the 120 semester hours of credit required for graduation, the last 30 must be taken at Rider.

Once a student has matriculated for a degree, credit for off-campus courses will be granted only with prior approval of the academic dean.

Policy for Transfer Students with an Associate Degree in Business Administration

For transfer students who have earned an Associate Degree in Business Administration from a regionally accredited institution in New Jersey, New York, or Pennsylvania, their non-business general education requirements (CMP 120, CMP 125, COM 290, and four liberal arts and sciences electives) will be waived in accordance with Lampitt Law.
